Animas -La Plata Project <br />Feb 13, 2013 Draft Transfer Inspection Report <br />Approximately 160 feet south of the spherical air chamber is located a flow meter structure <br />for the Ridges Basin Inlet Conduit. The structure is approximately 14' wide, 18' long, and 20' <br />tall, and installed below the ground surface. <br />At the southeast corner of the pumping plant is located the flow measurement structure <br />and 9' diameter cylindrical air chamber for the City of Durango's water supply pipeline. <br />2. Durango Pumping Plant Structure and Site <br />The pumping plant is an indoor -type structure with a cast -in -place reinforced concrete <br />substructure and superstructure. The roof system consists of a structural steel truss and <br />metal standing seam roof. The roof over the unit bay extends 17 feet above the service yard <br />elevation. The superstructure over the service bay extends 40 feet above the service yard <br />elevation. The plant is approximately 233' long and 89' wide. <br />TRANSFER ISSUE <br />STIPULATION <br />Reclamation will continue to monitor previous efforts (grouting <br />and sealing entire deck) for water seepage into these areas. <br />Water leaks into control <br />Should any unacceptable seeps occur, Reclamation will mitigate <br />room and motor control <br />the problem. Reclamation will also ensure that the leaking <br />gallery <br />electrical conduit in the control room is repaired.
