enable interested parties to be updated on progress of the project. A Project Final <br />Report will be prepared in Phase 111. This report will be made available in electronic <br />format from the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation's Hydraulics Investigations Group website. <br />At the conclusion of Phases I and 11, an interim review will be performed and details of <br />upcoming tasks will be refined to reflect knowledge gained through efforts completed to <br />date. A memo documenting these interim reviews will be provided to CWCB <br />representatives. As may be seen in the Project Schedule, there will be some overlap in <br />the duration of some of the tasks grouped under different project phases. <br />Phase I Tasks Monitoring & Base Station Setup <br />1. Install stage- discharge recorders at flumes on the J &E SH recharge sites <br />2. Construct new flume at SPDC G2 Sandhill ditch site (to replace excessively <br />submerged flume) <br />3. Install radio /control units at SPDC office and recharge sites <br />4. Install radio /control units on first group J &E SH wells (4 wells) <br />5. Install radio /control units @ J &E SH (FLG) recharge pond and office <br />6. Install radio /control unit @ DWR designated site <br />7. Link the radio /control unit at the SPDC upper flume site with the nearby <br />(Kautz) lift pump <br />8. Begin development and testing of data processing system in spreadsheet <br />environment (and installation on SPDC and J &E SH office units) <br />9. Organize and host field day <br />10. Conduct and document an interim project review: self assessment and report <br />to CWCB and Division One Colorado Department of Water Resources <br />(CDWR) office <br />Phase ll Tasks Monitoring & Control <br />1. Motorize gates on SPDC spillway check structure near the diversion <br />measurement flume and automate structure to maintain target flow at the <br />flume <br />2. Install a long- throated flume in an existing rectangular concrete section at the <br />entrance to Smith #3 pond on SPDC recharge system to replace check -weir <br />measurement <br />3. Install sharp - crested weir blades on the existing check -weir at the entrance to <br />the Sandhill pond on the SPDC recharge system <br />4. " *Install radio units on 2nd group of J &E SH wells (3 wells) <br />5. Install radio /controls unit @ 2 SPDC company lateral flumes. One at the <br />upper end flume location and one at the (Albrandt) flume near the lower end <br />of the lateral. <br />6. Continued development of spreadsheet -based data management tool <br />7. Organize and host second annual field day <br />8.
