Task 3 — Outlet Tower Modifications <br />This task includes the construction of a concrete slab over the tower to support the new control gates, installation of two <br />control gates (one large for emergency discharges and one smaller for normal irrigation water releases) with trashracks and <br />vent pipes. <br />Method/Procedure <br />Construction methods and procedures shall be in accordance with the final signed and sealed engineering project <br />plans and specifications. All operations shall be performed following OSHA and all other local, State and Federal <br />laws and regulations. <br />Deliverable <br />Signed and dated paper and electronic copies of As -Built drawings prepared by engineer of record on 11" x 17" <br />sheet size. <br />Task 4 — Repair Outlet Conduit <br />This task includes applying a shotcrete lining to the outlet conduit walls and roof to increase the structural integrity of the <br />outlet works. Prep work prior to the shotcrete will include patching and sealing of joints and repair to the floor slab. <br />Method/Procedure <br />Construction methods and procedures shall be in accordance with the final signed and sealed engineering project <br />plans and specifications. All operations shall be performed following OSHA and all other local, State and Federal <br />laws and regulations. <br />Deliverable <br />Signed and dated paper and electronic copies of As -Built drawings prepared by engineer of record on 11" x 17" <br />sheet size. <br />Task 5 — Outlet Structure Rehabilitation and Seepaae Control <br />This task includes removal of deteriorated portions of the existing outlet control and energy dissipation structure, replacing <br />the deteriorated portions of the walls and floor slab, and the installation of seepage collection devices and measuring <br />devices. <br />Method/Procedure <br />Construction methods and procedures shall be in accordance with the final signed and sealed engineering project <br />plans and specifications. All operations shall be performed following OSHA and all other local, State and Federal <br />laws and regulations. <br />Deliverable <br />Signed and dated paper and electronic copies of As -Built drawings prepared by engineer of record on 11" x 17" <br />sheet size. <br />REPORTING AND FINAL DELIVERABLE <br />Reporting: The applicant shall provide the CWCB a progress report every 6 months, beginning from the date of the <br />executed contract. The progress report shall describe the completion or partial completion of the tasks identified in the <br />statement of work including a description of any major issues that have occurred and any corrective action taken to address <br />these issues. <br />Final Deliverable: At completion of the project, the applicant shall provide the CWCB a final report that summarizes the <br />project and documents how the project was completed. This report may contain photographs, summaries of meetings and <br />engineering reports /designs. <br />BUDGET <br />The total project cost is estimated to be $2,032,000. Approved funding for the project includes the $914,400 WSRA grant <br />($55,000 from the Arkansas Basin and $859,400 from the statewide account). The remaining $1,117,600 will come from a <br />CWCB Construction Fund Loan. <br />Page 2 of 3 <br />
