Representatives of the three States, with advice from other interviewers, will <br />select a Consultant for contract negotiations. The contract is expected to be <br />awarded no later than March 16, 2001. <br />Contracting <br />The Consultant selected to do the study will be contracting with the Nebraska <br />Community Foundation (Foundation). The Foundation will execute the financial aspects <br />of the agreement and manage the administrative aspects of the contract under an existing <br />agreement with the three states and the Department of Interior. Technical aspects of the <br />contract and approval of work products will be administered by the representative(s) of <br />the three states. The Foundation will be responsible for payment of fees for services <br />rendered, as approved by the states. <br />Work Schedule <br />The Consultant should assume that the contract will be awarded and work will begin no <br />later than March 16, 2001. Work is to conclude by August 15, 2001 or by such other <br />date as agreed to by the parties (refer to Task 6 for additional details). <br />Technical Direction <br />Technical direction for the study will be provided by and questions on the scope, <br />activities, objectives, etc. should be directed to an individual by the states. <br />454 44) <br />4) <br />��' • `°2'" <br />G �B <br />-3- <br />
