Draft3 <br />Schedule for 3 states' selection of sed/veg consultant. <br />Jan. 22 <br />Consultants' LOI and SOQ due to Jim Cook <br />Jan. 23 <br />Jim Cook forwards LOI and SOQ to Committee (Cook, Mathisen, <br />Brown, and Holsinger; assisted by Drain and Kwa noski) <br />Jan. 23 <br />Jim's assistant types LONG list of consultants, and forwards list to <br />Committee and GC, asking GC to identify unacceptable entries by <br />Feb. 2, with justification for categorization as unacceptable. <br />Jan. 23 <br />Committee send edits on RFP to Mike Drain <br />Jan. 25 <br />Mike Drain compiles edits and emails new draft to Committee <br />Jan. 26 or 29 <br />Committee conference call to iron out final draft RFP <br />Jan. 29 <br />Jim Cook sends final draft RFP to GC, asking for edits by Feb. 2 <br />Feb. 2 <br />GC members respond to Jim Cook on RFP and identifying <br />unacceptable consultants <br />Feb. 3 <br />Jim Cook sends GC's comments on RFP and list of unacceptable <br />proposers (with justification) to Committee <br />Feb. 5 <br />Committee conference call to 1) modify RFP per GC comments and <br />reduce LONG list of consultants (6 or 7) to receive an RFP <br />Feb. 6 <br />Jim Cook sends (via fax, for speed) RFP to the 6 or 7 identified on <br />Feb. 5. Be sure to inform proposers of the date, time and location of <br />the Informational Meeting, due date for proposals, and interviews. <br />Feb. 15 <br />Informational meeting at Denver Water Board at 10 am Mountain <br />time. <br />Feb. 27 <br />Proposals due to each state's committee member, with a separate <br />sealed cost proposal. <br />Feb. 27- Mar. 6 <br />Committee reviews proposals. <br />Mar. 6 <br />Committee conference call to determine if there is a clear winner( C <br />Open cost proposals to see if "clear winner" is within budget. If not a <br />clear winner, decide which 3 to interview. Note: opening cost <br />proposals prior to developing a short list would be contrary to our <br />procedures, but would only be a problem IF the "clear winner" <br />submits a budget that is unacceptable and we decide to go forward <br />with interviews. <br />Mar. 13 <br />Interviews, if needed.
