This tour will begin and end in Medora amidst the backdrop of the <br />Badlands. It offers an opportunity for you to extend your stay or <br />come early! The Southwest Pipeline Project began back in 1983 in <br />southwestern North Dakota, and is now nearing completion. Join <br />us as we highlight some of the facilities and needs that have been <br />met with a clean supply of quality water. You'll also experience <br />new tourism favorites such as the Bully Pulpit Golf Course and <br />a journey down the Enchanted Highway. Ask for the "water tour <br />block" to get the rate of $89.90. <br />This half -day tour around the Fargo- Moorhead area will highlight <br />what makes the Red River Valley flood control and water supply <br />issues unique and challenging in North Dakota's most populated <br />region. Included on this tour will be stops at the southside dike site, <br />the Ridgewood project, and the Fargo Air Museum. <br />This two -day tour will focus on irrigation development in the <br />semi -arid Mon -Dak region. Possible stops will include the Sioux <br />Irrigation District, Sidney Agricultural Research Service Station, <br />the Buford - Trenton Irrigation District, Nesson Valley Irrigation <br />Research and Development Project site, the Heartland alfalfa <br />cubing plant in Tioga, and a irrigated turnip grazing system. <br />This tour begins and ends in Mandan, with an overnight stay <br />in Williston. The fee for this tour is $75 plus room.
