Project Schedule
A draft schedule for completing the Study is summarized below. Optional work tasks are
included to provide an overview of the entire process. However, it is emphasized that
there is no funding currently authorized for additional work and the outcome of the
proposed Study will dictate whether additional work is warranted.
Shaded areas are optional tasks
SOQ Submittal Process
Firms interested in being considered for the Study should submit a SOQ. The SOQ
should describe their expertise and experience in completing projects of similar scope and
complexity. In addition, a separate document that describes any potential conflicts of
interest in the South Platte Basin is required. The SOQ should contain a maximum of 15
pages of text (excluding resumes and project experience) and identify staff that are
available to work on the Study from November 2000 to May 2001. For the optional tasks
the focus will be on the firm's demonstrated experience in the subject area. It is
recognized that staff availability for the optional tasks is difficult to project.
Nevertheless, firms should provide representative staffing with the understanding that
subsequent work if undertaken will be negotiated based on actual staff available at the
time of task implementation and cost.
Six (6) copies of the SOQ should be addressed to Maggie Van Cleef and received at the
Department of Natural Resources Purchasing Office no later than 5 p.m. October 5, 2000
at 1313 Sherman Street, Room 423, Denver, Colorado. If you have any questions
regarding this Study, please contact Maggie Van Cleef in writing at the above address,
phone (303) 866 -4188, facsimile: (303) 866 -5575, email: maQaie.vancleef @state.co.us.
2
