Reconnaissance Level Study <br />South Platte Water Management and Storage Sites <br />Information Sheet <br />PDA —104V <br />The Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) is soliciting Statement of <br />Qualifications (SOQ's) for professional services to conduct a reconnaissance level study <br />(Study) to evaluate water management and storage alternatives in the Lower South Platte <br />River Basin. The Study will require an evaluation and summary of existing information <br />as well as development and analysis of relevant new information. The scope of the Study <br />will require expertise in water project planning and construction, and a thorough <br />understanding of the legal and administrative options and constraints associated with <br />water project implementation and operations (see Study Scope of Work for additional <br />detail). <br />Funding <br />Funding for this Study was approved by the Colorado General Assembly and is <br />appropriated from the CWCB Construction Fund. The Study must be conducted in <br />accordance with the "Guidelines for Financial Assistance through the CWCB <br />Construction Fund ". The State of Colorado has a maximum of $135,000.00 to complete <br />the Study. The State of Colorado may at its sole discretion elect to implement additional <br />work with the successful consultant upon completion of the reconnaissance level Study. <br />Additional work tasks may include feasibility level study, design, and construction <br />management. <br />Procurement and Contract Negotiation Schedule <br />A draft schedule for consultant selection and contract negotiations is summarized below. <br />Please note that the procurement process only requires a SOQ and interview for selection. <br />A proposal is not being requested.
