On October 23rd and 24�, staff from Colorado Division IT and the Garden City Field, Office <br />met in Pueblo; Colorado to.diseuss.the following issues:: process to improve coordination and <br />issue resolution, determination of transit losses, categorization of water issues matrix, and <br />rotating the Operations Secretary Responsibilities between the states. In addition, Steve 1Vliller, <br />CWCB, presented a proposal concerning. the evaporation of water from the .JMl2 permanent pool. <br />From -this, ,three .(3). work produets.were generated:. tables of dates and communication levels, <br />the water issues matrix, and a joint product to look at transit losses of Kansas.deliveries, <br />especially Kansas Section, IL <br />Dates and Communication <br />The Operations Committee asked. us to look at dates in, the. Compact Year (CY where there <br />were events that warranted communication between the respective state offices.. We were also <br />asked to loop at which events may warrant communication with the Operations Committee._ The <br />stated goal was to establish a process to improve the comrnunicatioxi and resolve issues as they <br />occur. Attached are two tables that identify both set dates and other events during the year that <br />may warrant some level of com=inication. ' Ste Attachment,A. <br />These two, tables detail events that occur during. the CY, either those associated with a set <br />date or events that may occur. during the year...., Commulucation was placed into one (1) of four <br />(4) levels: 1) between _OS- and AOS., 2) with Operations Committee, 3) meeting. between staffs, <br />and 4) meeting with Operations. Committee Six -(6) set dates ,a ,' ated with.specific ev -_` . <br />were identified. -In. addition; -three (3) meeting dates: were identified witWn the_ CY. Two (2) _of <br />these -three (3). meetings would be between the rspective staffs to discass. operational issues. and <br />may also serve; to identify and address; emerging issues.
