Task 4 - CHAPTER II, The City <br />A brief history of the City of Greeley shall be compiled outlining the laws <br />under which it is organized, its powers and authority, financial status, and <br />physical assets. <br />Task 5 - CHAPTER III, Land <br />The possibility of exchanging water rights between the City and local <br />irrigation companies shall be explored to the fullest. Such exchanges might <br />be beneficial to the City, and to the overall development of agricultural land <br />in the region. Any additional benefits to local irrigation districts shall be <br />described in detail. <br />Task 6 - CHAPTER IV, Water <br />The WE Project Team shall make an analysis of the City's present municipal <br />and industrial water requirements including peak hourly, daily, weekly and <br />monthly uses, and the contribution of the Barnes Meadow Reservoir toward <br />meeting the City's water requirements. The analysis shall include shrinkage <br />allowances from point of diversion to point delivery, exchanges with other <br />entities, and shall develop monthly #wa a and release requirements for <br />the reservoir. Available informatity e .9 shall be incorporated <br />into this analysis. <br />An analysis of the water rights Barnes Meadow Reservoir shall be <br />made, including a list of effective water rights and permits, and dates of <br />priority. The effects of the water rights on the availability of the water <br />supply for the project, both present and future, shall be discussed. The <br />possibility of transferring water rights from one reservoir to another <br />reservoir owned by the City of Greeley shall be fully explored, as will be the <br />possibility of losing water rights in the event transfers did occur. <br />A most probable yield in acre -feet shall be developed for Barnes Meadow <br />Reservoir. The yield for the reservoir shall be estimated for present <br />restricted operating conditions and for the fully operational condition. A <br />tabulation of monthly recorded stream flows shall be made for a selected study <br />period. The study period for determining yield shall be investigated and <br />- 3 - <br />
