doesn't want agency historical knowledge leaving with them. He wants to create process documents
that track what we do and what the steps are to each subject we work on so that incoming employees
can get up to speed faster and existing employees have a better knowledge of what everyone else
does and could pick up the pieces easier if someone left unexpectedly. I am working on a prototype
: "Compact Operational Guideline" fact sheet with Randy to see how this might work for our section.
Dan mentioned a March to July timeframe for this "procedure process" work.
10. Budget Update - Tina, Steve and Dan are working on trying to move some of the Compact Section
legal charges for Black Canyon and the Gunnison ISF to the Reserved Rights Fund, which will free
up some additional funding for our Section travel and operating, which is very tight right now.
CWCB had $20K set aside for implementing Ref. A, which is being split among the sections for
additional operating.
11. In addition, since our section operating balance is low, it is imperative that we have real -time balance
sheets, so we need all travel for this fiscal year be turned in. The deadline for any and all old travel
reimbursement is January 111, which isn't very far from today. Dan was very firm that travel not
turned in by the deadline would receive sanctions of some kind ... exact policy on this is being
determined, but there would be some kind of consequences. If anyone needs help getting this turned
in, let me know ... I can help with filling in forms, copying receipts and checking totals.
12. That's all, folks. (isn't that enough ?)
