Bid Modification Schedule
Hu4ick Bid Amount: $ 593,490.00
1 Bid Item 10 - Roadbase: $ (3,600.00)
This does not seem to be an integral part of the work. The reservoir could be built and be
fun tional without a roadbase surface. The owner could have roadbase placed at a later
poi t in time as funds allow.
2 Ge technical Testing: $ (4,500.00)
Prc 'ect specifications require contractor to carry the cost of testing for compaction of trench
ba fill. HEI carried a budget amount for this work. Owner can take this requirement out of
the contract and may be able to reduce the scope and thereby reduce the cost to owner.
3 Ch nge Pipe Specification $ (6,000.00)
Change all references from c9OO to sdr26 pvc. C900 is commonly used as a waterline pipe,
an is pressure rated. Our application does not need to operate under pressure. Also, change
all eferences from slot perforations to (curb drain standard perforations) 1 /2" holes, 2 rows,
120 degrees apart, 5" O.C. This should give same function without the cost.
Engineering Total. $ (14,100.00)
4 HEI would propose to adjust the riprap spec to 6 " +. We could pick out "boulders" though.
5 HE has received gradations from Tom Dea, we have made a deduction to our crush /screen
6 HE would prefer payment by the 15th of the month (15 day terms), provided pay application
is s ibmitted by the 25th of the prior month.
Ba ed upon 6,7,8 $ (13,590.00)
Contract Amount: $ 565,800.00
