Range 7 ENMPM, and Sections 25, 26, and 35, in Township 41 North, Range 8 ENMPM. The hail <br />cannons shall be located at the following locations: <br />A. Cannons #410, #411, #412. Between County Road G and County Road E east of County <br />Line Road near CR 56 and CR 57; <br />B. Cannon #414. Located west of Highway 285 near CR B; and <br />C. Cannons #413, 4415, #416, #417. Between County Road E and County Road C east of <br />County Line Road near CR56 and CR 54, and CR B and CR 52. <br />D. Cannons #419 and #420 are located on County Road B between CR51 and CR 53. <br />SCF shall determine the GPS coordinates of the hail cannon locations and provide these coordinates <br />to the CWCB as part of the annual reports. <br />5. SCF shall operate no more than ten hail cannons. The CWCB must approve in writing any proposed <br />change in the number or location of hail cannons. <br />6. SCF shall install and maintain the following measures to mitigate the sound produced by hail <br />cannons: <br />A. If a residence is 0.5 mile or more from a hail cannon and less than two miles from the <br />cannon, SCF agrees to construct a sound barrier at least twelve feet high around the <br />cannon and three hay bales deep. <br />B. SCF shall install sound mitigation measures at all hail cannons. <br />SCF can be asked by the CWCB to conduct sound testing for noise levels from the cannons. <br />7. SCF shall operate the hail cannons only when a storm likely to produce hail approaches the target <br />area. SCF shall refrain from indiscriminate and excessive operations, and such operations are <br />grounds for revocation of the Permit. Limited testing, calibration, and start -up of the hail cannons are <br />permitted. <br />8. SCF shall submit an annual report to the CWCB by January 1 for each year of the Permit. The <br />annual report shall include the following: <br />A. A daily record of the operation, including photographs of hail events, screen shots of radar <br />data during events, and other data used by SCF to operate the hail cannons; <br />B. A monthly summary including the dates, start and end times, total time, and weather <br />conditions when each hail cannon was operated; and <br />C. The information produced by the data collection and analyses described at paragraph 9 <br />herein. <br />9. SCF shall fund and participate in up to five years of data collection and analyses of the hail cannons, <br />to be coordinated by the Colorado State University Colorado Climate Center ( "CSU CCC ").
