Case No. 80CW18 <br /> Colo. Water Cons. Board <br /> Hunter Creek <br /> D. The•Hunter Creek Reservoir <br /> 1. The Hunter Creek Reservoir holds priority No. 724 in former <br /> Water District 38. This storage right was decreed November <br /> 5, 1971, for 27 acre feet with an appropriation date of <br /> October 9, 1957. <br /> 2. Hunter Creek Reservoir is an on channel reservoir located <br /> in lots 3 and 4 of P.E. 640 and lots 6 and 7 of H.E. 146 <br /> all in sec. 4, TlOS R84W 6th P.M. The Hunter Creek Reser- <br /> voir contains approximately 27 acre feet and has a surface <br /> area of 6 acres. <br /> 3. Source; Hunter Creek, a tributary of the Roaring Fork <br /> River in the Colorado River Basin. <br /> 4. Hunter Creek Reservoir has a historic consumptive use of <br /> 11.52 acre feet per year, which equates to a consumptive <br /> use flow rate of 0.024 c.f.s. <br /> 5. The application also claimed the right to change a condi- <br /> tional right awarded to the Hunter Creek Reservoir, known <br /> as the Hunter Creek Reservoir Enlargement. That claim is <br /> hereby dismissed. <br /> E. The Koch Ditch No. 1 <br /> 1. The Koch Ditch No. 1 holds priority No. 722 in former Water <br /> District 38. This right was decreed on November 5, 1971, <br /> for 1 c.f.s. with an appropriation date of October 7, 1957. <br /> 2. The point of diversion of Koch Ditch No. 1 is located on <br /> the east bank of Koch Creek No. 1 at a point whence the <br /> N.W. corner of Koch Homestead in sec. 5, T1OS R84W 6th <br /> P.M., bears N87 deg. 25'41 "W, 262 feet. <br /> 3. Source; Koch Creek, a tributary of the Roaring Fork River <br /> in the Colorado River Basin. <br /> 4. Koch Ditch No. 1 was decreed for irrigation, domestic, and <br /> other beneficial purposes. The irrigated acreage is locat- <br /> ed generally in sec. 5, TlOS R84W 6th P.M. <br /> 5. Diversions for the Koch Ditch No. 1 resulted in a histori- <br /> cal consumptive use of 4.5 acre feet per year which equates <br /> to a consumptive use flow rate of 0.018 c.f.s. <br /> -4- <br />
