Dear Ben,
In accordance with the Water Efficiency Grant requirements, the Pagosa Area Water and Sanitation
District (PAWSD — the District) is pleased to provide this 75% progress report to the Office of Water
Conservation and Drought Planning (Office). This report has been prepared in compliance with
guidance available from the Office for implementation efforts under the Water Efficiency Grant
program. Specifically, this report contains the following:
• A review of the steps completed to date based on the scope of work funded by the
Grant;
• A discussion of the obstacles that have arisen during execution of the project that may
impact performance of the scope of work; and
• A review of the steps that remain to complete the scope of work, including any corrective
actions and revisions to the current project schedule.
An invoice for work performed under the Grant is also attached requesting for reimbursement of
eligible costs based on the Grant application and the issued purchase order.
Steps Completed
The scope of work funded by the Grant included the following tasks:
• Task 1— Conducting outreach activities including updating the District's website and printing
and distributing water conservation materials to local hotels and restaurants;
• Task 2 — (A) - Conducting 10 commercial water user audits (at local hotels and restaurants);
• Task 2 — (B) - Installing retrofit high- efficiency dual flush toilets, waterless urinals, and high -
efficiency showerheads and faucet aerators in selected local businesses; and
• Task 3 - Preparing a report summarizing the results of the water audits and tracking the
impact of the retrofits on customer water use.
