Necessary Flows for the Durango Boating Park Expected flow is a key= part of the design process. Necessary flows for a particular design in a particular reach of the Animas River are based on a variety of factors and it was found in this study that the required flow regime for certain Structures at the Smelter Boating Park was different than at others, as were the City's intended usage at the different Structures.
