The project was <br />completed on schedule and within budget and is currently enjoyed by hundreds of <br />people each year. <br />Two Forks River Park, Deckers, Colorado, 1989: Development of a major <br />regional park within the proposed Two Forks Reservoir area. Presented to many <br />federal, State, and local agencies. <br />Clear Creek Master Plan, City of Golden, 1987: Master development plan for <br />the two mile Clear Creek Corridor as it passes through academic, residential, <br />urban and industrial areas of downtown Golden. Trail, in- channel, public facility, <br />and park improvements have become part of the revitalized area of the Creek. <br />Arkansas River Boat Chute at the Mt. Shavano Fish Hatchery, Colorado <br />Division of Wildlife, 1986 -1987: This assignment included final design, <br />implementation, and coordination of State and local agencies. Related boating <br />access improvements were also included in this project. <br />Boat Landing and Pocket Park, Salida, Colorado, 1986-1987: Design engineer <br />and project manager for an in -town river boat landing and mini whitewater park <br />on the Arkansas River. The project was built with a grant from the Coors <br />Company. <br />Whitewater Boating Bypass, Colorado Water Conservation Board, 1985- <br />1989: Whitewater boating designer for the $1 million whitewater boating bypass <br />project on the South Platte River at Union Avenue. This assignment included <br />performance of alternatives evaluation, design, and obtaining approvals from <br />many jurisdictions. <br />South Platte River Master Plan, Urban Drainage District, 1983: This project <br />included resource inventory, soliciting input from various agencies, interest <br />groups, municipalities, and citizens; formulating plans and preliminary designs <br />for parks, natural areas, bike and pedestrian paths, access points, river <br />improvements, and fish - wildlife habitat improvements; producing cost estimates <br />for each phase; recommendations for maintenance programs; and conducting <br />public presentations for the project. <br />Miscellaneous Boat Chutes, Denver, Colorado, 1983 -1987: Designed and <br />model - tested safety improvements installed in the Platte River -3rd Avenue Dam <br />boating bypass structures. <br />Whitewater design engineer for boating bypass projects including the Arkansas <br />River at Buena Vista, Colorado, and the South Platte River at Florida Avenue, <br />the South Platte River at Oxford Avenue, the South Platte River near Gates <br />Rubber Company, and Bear Creek at Sheridan Boulevard in Denver, Colorado. <br />
