Goose Creek Boat Chute Feasibility Study, Sheridan, Wyoming, 1992: <br />Produced alternative evaluation for various boat chute configurations for a <br />dangerous drop structure. <br />Jordan River Parkway, Salt Lake City, Utah, 1992: Planning assistance for a <br />proposed greenway. <br />Roaring Fork River Trail and Whitewater Course, City of Aspen, Colorado, <br />1990 -1992: Provided planning and design services, including site planning and <br />design, environmental restoration and resource protections. Provided cost <br />estimates, bid documents, and construction supervision. Also elicited public <br />input, secured local funding, and obtained approvals from local, State and federal <br />officials. <br />Glenwood Springs Roaring Fork River Trail, City of Glenwood Springs, <br />Colorado, 1992: Completed design and construction services for a major <br />Colorado River bike /pedestrian bridge, railroad underpass, and connecting trails. <br />Glenwood Springs River Corridor Master Plan and Design Guidelines, City <br />of Glenwood Springs, Colorado, 1991: Completed a River Corridor Master Plan <br />for the Roaring Fork and Colorado Rivers through the City. This plan, approved <br />by the City Council, was sent to the citizens for approval of funds for this major <br />project. Design and construction of a demonstration trail in 1991 was also <br />included. <br />Yampa River Trail, City of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, 1989 —1991: <br />Completed a master plan for the Yampa River Corridor for the City of Steamboat <br />Springs. After the successful passage of a $2 million bond initiative, Recreation <br />Engineering & Planning was retained to design and implement this major <br />trail /corridor project. Completion of a City -wide master trail system plan was <br />also part of the overall project. Major portions of the Yampa River Trail were <br />built in 1990 with the remainder constructed in 1991. Also designed and <br />supervised construction of fish habitat and boating improvements in the Yampa <br />River, within the Cite. <br />Boulder Creek Whitewater Course, City of Boulder, 1990: Obtained a grant <br />from the Cite of Boulder Parks Department to construct a whitewater kayak <br />course on Boulder Creek. The project included reconstruction of a 1/4 mile <br />section of the Creek to create a series of small drops and pools that allows boating <br />at verylow flows. The project also included construction of 25 semi - permanent <br />slalom gates. The course was built on schedule and is the location for many <br />major whitewater events. <br />St. Vrain River Restoration, Town of Lyons, 1989 -1990: Obtained a major <br />grant to restore a segment of the South St. Wain River, including stream habitat <br />
