7. ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEE REPORT <br />The manager said that Bostwick Park Conservancy District has decided <br />that they do not want to participate in an exchange involving Silver Jack <br />Reservoir. She said that it is likely that the Tunnel call may be <br />administered down to a certain priority. Greg Peterson asked legal counsel <br />to come up with a formal, legal opinion on this subject. The manager said <br />that the committee asked the Division Engineer to get back to them on a <br />number of issues, so that input can be provided to him in March, for a <br />potential call in April. Jim Cochran said he would like to have as much <br />information as possible in order to communicate with the upper basin <br />water users as to what they can expect this year. Greg Peterson added <br />that this information should be in writing. <br />The Administration Issues Committee will meet on February 19, 2003 from <br />11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Courthouse. <br />8. MISCELLANEOUS MATTERS <br />Greg Peterson asked if the board wants to send a letter regarding the fact <br />that two CWCB board members are on the paid consultant team for the <br />SWSI. <br />Bob Drexel moved to authorize staff to write a letter of concern <br />to the CWCB concerning the issue of alleged conflict of interest. <br />Jim Cochran seconded the motion. The motion carried. <br />The manager said that she has been asked to consider being the Gunnison <br />County representative to Club 20. Board members recommended that she <br />consider limiting her time to Club 20's water committee due to the number <br />of Club 20 activities not pertaining to water. <br />The manager asked the board to consider raising the mileage <br />reimbursement for staff and board members from $.31 per mile to $.36. <br />Steve Glazer moved to raise the mileage expense renumeration <br />from $.31 to $.36 per mile for this budget year. Bob Drexel <br />seconded the motion. <br />Diane Lothamer suggested deducting the extra $.05 per mile and <br />considering making a policy to match the government rate next year. <br />The motion carried. <br />Page 5 of 8 <br />
