Stationing refers to centerline of construction and is the measured horizontal <br />distance. Contractor will perform all excavations in conformance with OSHA part 1926 subpart <br />P which may include flattening or shoring side slopes to maintain trench slope stability. <br />Procedure <br />Pump water to divert from construction siteas needed — throughout project <br />Pour 3.5" inch footer for stemwalls <br />Set forms for stemwall, tie re -bar and pour concrete <br />Backfill stemwalls <br />Form floor, tie double knots of re -bars into stem walls <br />Stub out re -bar for vertical walls <br />Pour concrete on floors, installing control joint during pour <br />Form vertical walls <br />Tie all re -bars <br />Install chamfers <br />Build as -built forms for diversion <br />Pour concrete (wait two days) <br />Strip forms <br />Backfill <br />Deliverable Increase flows in the main channel of the San Antonio, thus maintaining instream <br />flows and water quality in low flow regimes and reducing sediment loading, woody debris and <br />logjams in high water conditions. Achieve full diversion of decreed priorities during low flow <br />regimes, and maintain design flows in the El Codo Ditch diversion and in the bypass of the San <br />Antonio River. <br />TASK 3 - Heating and Blanketing of Concrete — as needed <br />Description of Task - Protect concrete from freezing in the event of cold weather. <br />Method/Procedure — Per NRCS specifications. <br />Deliverable — Strength and longevity of concrete structures. <br />TASK 4 — Upgrading Sluice Gate (2 days) <br />Description of Task replace existing system of installing or removing boards with gear /screw- <br />driven metal gate. <br />Method/Procedure - Reeds Tire & Welding construct knife plate for sluice gate. Weld in <br />framework for gate and install NRCS- designed pre- fabricated gate. Replace the existing sluice <br />gate with a new gate system. Install according to NRCS specifications. <br />Deliverable - Safe control of sluice gate regardless of water level. Improved operational control <br />of flows during low flow regimes and reduced sediment loading, woody debris, and log jams in <br />high water flows. <br />El Codo Ditch Company 6 Updated Statement of Work <br />
