June 4, 2009 <br />Deliverable — This work was completed according to Phase I in Project proposal. Created a <br />natural landscape, enhanced the biology of the river, protected the integrity of the bank against <br />high springtime flows, established root -wad vegetation and enhanced riparian habitat areas, <br />stabilized river channel and banks in preparation for Phase II. Future function of the floodplain <br />on this reach of the river will be greatly improved by achieving stability on both streambanks and <br />on adjacent riparian areas, thus improving water quality, resulting in an improved fishery in the <br />area of this diversion. Anticipated touch -up and occasional maintenance until start of Phase II. <br />TASK 5 — Demobilization <br />Description of Task — Evacuate equipment and materials from project site. <br />Method/Procedure - Exit gracefully leaving site and removing all traces of equipment and <br />activity. <br />Deliverable — Phase I of Project Complete <br />PHASE II — October 1, 2009 — December 15, 2009 <br />TASK 1— Mobilization (one day) <br />Description of Task - Mobilize equipment and facilitate access to proposed job site. <br />Equipment - Excavator, Dump truck with 15 cu yd capacity, tool trailer, concrete forms, and <br />pump and pipe. <br />Method/Procedure — Mobilization shall include all activities and associated costs for <br />transportation of contractor's personnel, equipment, and operating supplies to the site following <br />NRCS specifications for mobilization and environmental guidelines. This work includes <br />mobilization required by the contract at the time of award. If additional mobilization activities <br />and costs are required during the performance of the contract as a result of changed, deleted, or <br />added items of work for which the contractor is entitled to an adjustment in contract price, <br />compensation for such costs will be included in the price adjustment for the item or items of <br />work changed or added. <br />Deliverable — All of contractor's personnel, equipment, and operating supplies are located at the <br />site following NRCS specifications for mobilization and environmental guidelines in preparation <br />for the next task. <br />TASK 2 - Concrete Core construction (2.5 months) <br />Description of Task Replace the existing rock -pile diversion with a new NRCS- engineered Core. <br />Method/Procedure The concrete mix shall be no less than 6 sacks of cement per cubic yard. <br />Compressive strength of 4000 psi. See NRCS concrete Specification 32. Exposed concrete edges <br />shall have one inch chamfer. Reinforced bar spacing is center to center of bars. Bar cover is clear <br />distance between surface of bar and face of concrete and shall be 2' for formed or top surfaces <br />and 3' for surfaces placed against earth, unless otherwise shown.
