This Environmental Assessment (EA) discloses the environmental effects <br />associated with the construction, opexation, and maintenance of the enlarged Yeservoir. <br />We have been working with the FS since early 2007 in puYSUit of the necessary Special <br />Use Pexmit for the pYOject, and have completed a draft Environmental Assessment <br />which has been reviewed by the FS project manageY and NEPA specialist. We have <br />made theiY suggested xevisions, and the EA is now being Yeviewed by the FS ID team. <br />The dtaft EA was Yeceived on February 13, 2009, attached is the tentative EA <br />Timeline (see Project Timeline, Exhibit S~. <br />U. S. Army Corps of Engineers 404 permit <br />o Requixed for dYedge and fill activities within watexs of the United States <br />We have met with the US Army Corps of Engineers and the US Environmental <br />Protection Agency for the Section 404 of the Clean Water Act permit. <br />Water R.ights State of Colorado <br />The water rights aYe in place or aYe pending in wateY couxt. <br />• Construction plan review <br />o USFS review for consistency with opexating plan standards and with the teYms <br />of the decision notice. <br />15 <br />
