• State Engineer's Dam Safery Permit <br />Tetra Tech is pYOViding the engineering design foY the pYOject and will submit the <br />applications to the State EngineeYS Office foY Dam Safety review and approval. Tetra <br />Tech has been meeting with the State Engineer's Office on the xeservoir design and <br />dam safety standards compliance. <br />• Consultation with U.S. Fish ands Wildlife Service - Endangered Species Act <br />compliance <br />o For potential impacts to Threatened and EndangeYed species. <br />• Consultation with State Histotic Preservation Office - Section 10G compliance <br />o Fox protection of cultural Yesouxces <br />• Summit Counry 1041 permit review <br />o Required to ensure that growth and development in S»mmit County are <br />consistent with legitimate envitonmental concexns and occux in a safe and <br />coordinated manner in axeas ox activities of State Interest. <br />This is a request foY Level of Permit Review DeteYmination in accordance with <br />Section 10200 B 2 of the Summit County Land Use and Development Code <br />(SCLUDC) for the Old Dillon Reservoix (ODR) EnlaYgement Pxoject. The document <br />is Yeady for submittal to Suinmit County. <br />• Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment <br />Storm Water Control Permit <br />Construction Dewatering Pexmit <br />401 Water Quality Cextification <br />No agency has indicated a fatal flaw in the project; thus, we believe the pxoject will secuxe the <br />necessary permits and approvals pxior to site disturbance. <br />2.5 Financial Feasibility <br />The engineer's estimate for the project is $6,315,000 which includes design, engineering, perrr~tt~ng <br />and estimated construction costs. The Town of Dillon is xesponsible fox 20% of design, <br />engineeYing and permitting through the IGA (.ree Old Dillon 1~e.rerUOir Intergovernmental Agreement, <br />Exhibit D). The Town of Dillon will be responsible foY 26.25% of the construction costs as the <br />Town's ownership of the enlargement has increased. The Town will receive a total of 109 AF for a <br />total cost of $1,728,000 including Town of Dillon attorney fees and CWCB loan fee.
