4. Hatchery Operations: 0 <br />A. Field spawning of wild fish. <br />1. Fish health biologist will review all plans and procedures, and be <br />available during the spawning operations if necessary. <br />B. Spawning of captive broodstocks. <br />1. Same as above. <br />C. Develop sanitation plans (including isolation/quarantine and equipment <br />disinfection procedures as needed) for hatchery and field operations. <br />D. Develop diagnostic and trouble shooting plans including guidelines for when <br />hatchery personnel should request assistance from the Fish Health Center. <br />E. Develop marking and tagging guidelines that address sanitation and stock <br />identification. <br />F. Develop transportation and introductions guidelines that address general fish <br />health management and regulatory concerns. <br />G. Develop guidelines for proper application of prophylactic and therapeutic drug <br />and chemical treatments in accordance with FDA requirements. <br />A section will be developed for all fish species currently at the hatchery, and for all species <br />being considered for future fish culture operations. They will be prepared by the hatchery <br />manager in coordination with the Fish Health Center, fishery management biologist, Regional <br />Fish Health Manager, State fish health specialist, and recovery or restoration teams. <br />0
