RCOMB may be used to add, subtract, multiply, or divide two time
series files. It is useful for adjusting flow files to an ungaged •
site and developing ratios of habitat or flow values.
RTSPT
-RTSPT,PCOL,TI,T2,T3,T4,T5,TAPE2I,TAPE22
Where: T1-T5 - up to 5 time series may be plotted on the same
plot
TAPE21 - printer plot output file which may be routed
to line printer
TAPE22 - table of exceedence values
CAUTION: Files T1-T5 must be local before executing this procedure.
RTSPT allows the user to generate a line printer plot up to 5 time
series (input must be in NWDC format). It may be used to plot several
life stages, study sites or combinations of same over time. Pre- and
post-change conditions of the same variables may also be plotted.
For long time series the output may be voluminous so the user may wish
to use the editor to adjust the input files to the period of interest.
RXCDPLT
-RXCDPLT,PCOL,TI,T2,T3,T4,T5,TAPE22......
Where: T1-T5 - up to 5 time series in NWDC format may be input 0
CAUTION: Files T1-T5 must be local before executing this procedure.
RXCDPLT produces printer plotted habitat duration curves for the
input monthly time series. Tables of the habitat exceedence values
are also obtained on TAPE22. Time duration plots and exceedence values
provide a summary reference of the proportion of times a given habitat
value is equalled or exceeded over the period of observation.
RHSSTS
-RHSSTS,PCOL,F,G
Where: F - a time series file
G - summary statistics output file
RHSSTS calculates summary statistics for a time series. The out-
put can be either for monthly or annual values. Both flow and habi-
tat time series may be input. The output is formatted for a 130 line
printer. Values of the mean, variance, standard deviation, skew,
range, maximum, minimum, and standard error of estimate of the mean are
calculated. For some large values, the variance may overflow the for-
mat and print asterisks. A hand calculator may be used to square the
standard deviation if variance is needed.
•
44
