EVALUATION <br />Factors to be evaluated during program implementation should <br />concentrate on the razorback sucker and flooded bottomland <br />habitat. In addition, these factors are also evaluated in <br />relation to the management and functions of the Preserve. <br />Factors to be evaluated include the following: <br />1. Fish <br />native fish and non-native fish interactions <br />non-native fish effects on wetland habitats <br />growth rates, survivability, movements, food habits of <br />native fish <br />2. Water Quality <br />• presence of heavy metals <br />• source and character of sodium chloride plume <br />• temperature, DO, pH <br />impacts of water quality on razorback sucker natural <br />history <br />3. Water levels <br />optimum for razorback sucker habitat <br />effectiveness of mosquito habitat management <br />wetland functions <br />4. Invertebrates <br />quantity and type available for native fish forage <br />5. Wildlife <br />impacts of avian predators on native fish populations <br />6.
