<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2.2.2 Previous WIRSOS Model Runs <br />As part of the Sandstone Depletion Study, WWC modeled the Little Snake River <br />under four different scenarios acceptable to the USFWS, i.e. Present Modified Conditions <br />(PMC), Environmental Baseline (EB), Environmental Baseline with Sandstone Reservoir <br />providing supplemental irrigation and municipal water (EB/SS-M), and Environmental <br />Baseline with Sandstone Reservoir providing supplemental irrigation and municipal water, <br />and industrial water (EB/SS-I). The following discussion is a brief description of each of <br />the above scenarios. <br />2.2.2.1 Present Modified Conditions (PMC). The PMC run simulated operation of the <br />Little Snake River over the 1930-1982 period of record with the level of development and <br />use existing along the river as of 1982. Demands on river water included current valid <br />water rights for irrigation and municipal uses (Baggs and Dixon) and depletions due to <br />transmountain diversion for the Cheyenne Stage I project. <br />2.2.2.2 Environmental Baseline (EB). The EB run simulated operation of the Little <br />Snake River over the 1930-1982 period using the demand level prepared for the PMC run <br />plus City of Cheyenne Stage II depletions and permitted water rights which are senior in <br />priority to Sandstone Reservoir. <br />16 <br />
