For ll years, starting in 1957, precipitation,
streamflow, and sediment were measured from
three small watersheds on Black Mesa in the
mountain grass lands of western Colorado to
obtain information about hydrologic processes.
Ground cover transect data were also obtained.
A primary purpose was to test one method of
estimating plant and ground cover as it relates
to runoff and sediment production. In this
report, physical characteristics, and hydrologic
characteristics are given for the Black Mesa
watershed.

This report presents a sampling study to deter-
mine numbers and kinds of fish on the Green
River in Colorado and Utah, 1963. The object
of the work was to obtain samples which could
be compared with 1961 and 1962 studies. The
only type of gear used--a bank shocker--was
