The Fryingpan River from Ruedi Reservoir to its 5 <br />confluence with the Roaring Fork was sampled <br />for trout populations. Estimates were based on <br />simple mark and recapture techniques.. Pre- <br />liminary population estimates are provided. <br />Sampling to evaluate pollution of California <br />Gulch was conducted. Colorado River cutthroat <br />were collected in North Cunningham Creek and <br />determined to be an essentially pure strain of <br />this subspecies by Dr. Robert Behnke.
