42 Document the goal development process:
Consultant will document the process used to develop the water conservation
goals.
Step 5- Identify Conservation Measures and Programs
Purpose
The activities described under this task will identify conservation ineasures and prograins that
the Entities inay iinpleinent to reach the conservation goals set in Step 4.
Approach
5.1 Identify conservation ineasures and prograins:
Consultant will work with the Steering Committee to develop water conservation
ineasures.
5.2 Develop and define screening criteria:
The Steering Committee and Consultant will describe the screening criteria used
to evaluate and eliininate soine of the water conservation ineasures and prograins.
5.3 Screen conservation ineasures and prograins:
The screening criteria will be applied to the "universal" list of conservation
ineasures and prograins to deterinine which ones will be further evaluated in the
planning process.
Step 6- Evaluate and Select Conservation Measures and Programs
Purpose
The activities described under this task evaluate and select the optiinal conservation ineasures
and programs that the District may implement.
Approach
6.1 Create coinbinations of ineasures and prograins:
Consultant will review all conservation ineasures and prograins that passed the
screening criteria and group them, so similar measures and associated water-
savings are accurately described.
