PRRIP - ED OFFICE FINAL 05/20l2008 <br />45 4) Schedule for completing each task in the scope. The following are critical dates for the <br />46 Governance Committee's preferred schedule for the project: <br />47 <br />48 July 2008 Pre-proposal site visit to central Nebraska <br />49 September 2008-March 2009 Scoping, permit/access acquisition <br />50 April-August 2009 First nesting season field data collection <br />51 December 2009 Draft report to ED Office/Presentation to Technical <br />52 Advisory Committee (TAC) <br />53 April-August 2410 Second nesting season field data collection <br />54 November 2010 Draft report to ED Office <br />55 December 2010 Final report to ED Office/Presentation to TAC <br />56 <br />57 Prospective contractors should address their capability to comply with the above schedule. If it is <br />58 deemed that the above critical dates should be revised, prospective contractors should offer <br />59 altemative schedules describing the logic and reasons for the altemative. <br />60 <br />61 5) Detailed cost not to ezceed proposal to compiete the project. The proposal shouid identify <br />62 costs and hours allocated for each task in the scope of work and the total cost for the project. <br />63 Hourly rates and reimbursable expenses for the proposing firm/individual and any sub- <br />64 contractors must be attached to the detailed price proposal. The contract will be awarded on a <br />65 Cost Not to Exceed basis. Govemance Committee approval is needed before the contractor is <br />66 authorized to begin implementa.tion. <br />67 <br />68 6) Equipment list sufficient to complete study. The contractor will be required to have <br />69 available for use Microsoft Access 2003 or 2007 for data entry. <br />70 <br />71 7) Conflicts of Interest Statement addressing whether or not any potential conflict of interest <br />72 exists between this project and other past or on-going projects, including any projects <br />73 currently being conducted for the Program. <br />74 <br />75 8) Description of Insurance shall be provided with the proposal. Proof of insurance will be <br />76 required before a contract is issued. Minimum insurance requirements will include <br />77 $1,000,000 generalliability per occurrence. To the extent authorized by law, the contractor <br />78 shall indemnify, save, and hold harmless the Nebraska Community Foundation, the sta.tes of <br />79 Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska, the Department of the Interior, members of the <br />80 Governance Committee, and the Executive Director's Office, their employees, employers, <br />81 and agents, against any and all claims, damages, liability, and court awards including costs, <br />82 expenses, and attomey fees incurred as a result of any act or omission by the contractor or its <br />83 employees, agents, subcontractors, or assignees pursuant to the terms of this project. <br />84 <br />85 TERMS AND CONDITIONS <br />86 The selected contractor will be retained by: <br />87 Nebraska Community Foundation <br />ss PO Box 83107 <br />89 Lincoln, NE 68501 <br />Page 2 of 6
