PRRIP - ED OFFICE FINAL 05/20l2008 45 4) Schedule for completing each task in the scope. The following are critical dates for the 46 Governance Committee's preferred schedule for the project: 47 48 July 2008 Pre-proposal site visit to central Nebraska 49 September 2008-March 2009 Scoping, permit/access acquisition 50 April-August 2009 First nesting season field data collection 51 December 2009 Draft report to ED Office/Presentation to Technical 52 Advisory Committee (TAC) 53 April-August 2410 Second nesting season field data collection 54 November 2010 Draft report to ED Office 55 December 2010 Final report to ED Office/Presentation to TAC 56 57 Prospective contractors should address their capability to comply with the above schedule. If it is 58 deemed that the above critical dates should be revised, prospective contractors should offer 59 altemative schedules describing the logic and reasons for the altemative. 60 61 5) Detailed cost not to ezceed proposal to compiete the project. The proposal shouid identify 62 costs and hours allocated for each task in the scope of work and the total cost for the project. 63 Hourly rates and reimbursable expenses for the proposing firm/individual and any sub- 64 contractors must be attached to the detailed price proposal. The contract will be awarded on a 65 Cost Not to Exceed basis. Govemance Committee approval is needed before the contractor is 66 authorized to begin implementa.tion. 67 68 6) Equipment list sufficient to complete study. The contractor will be required to have 69 available for use Microsoft Access 2003 or 2007 for data entry. 70 71 7) Conflicts of Interest Statement addressing whether or not any potential conflict of interest 72 exists between this project and other past or on-going projects, including any projects 73 currently being conducted for the Program. 74 75 8) Description of Insurance shall be provided with the proposal. Proof of insurance will be 76 required before a contract is issued. Minimum insurance requirements will include 77 $1,000,000 generalliability per occurrence. To the extent authorized by law, the contractor 78 shall indemnify, save, and hold harmless the Nebraska Community Foundation, the sta.tes of 79 Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska, the Department of the Interior, members of the 80 Governance Committee, and the Executive Director's Office, their employees, employers, 81 and agents, against any and all claims, damages, liability, and court awards including costs, 82 expenses, and attomey fees incurred as a result of any act or omission by the contractor or its 83 employees, agents, subcontractors, or assignees pursuant to the terms of this project. 84 85 TERMS AND CONDITIONS 86 The selected contractor will be retained by: 87 Nebraska Community Foundation ss PO Box 83107 89 Lincoln, NE 68501 Page 2 of 6
