Willow lBeach water should. be used for the bioassays.
The success of artificial propagation of the Colorado squawfish
by the FWS and resulting availability of these fish for bioassay work
dictates that we expend our prime effort with this species rather than
the northern squawfish. Northern squawfish are not available through
the winter months and as many bioassays as possible should be conducted with
the Colorado squawfish while they are in the juvenile stage of development.
