Lily Park S1te (Upstream of Little Snake) - 9/25/84

Air photo - channel morphology appears to be stable over the
time period studied. Sand bar locations have shifted slightly
1n 1981 photos and bars are slightly more numerous, flows are
higher (but very similar) in 1981. Substrate descriptions are
predominately sandlsilt with minor notations of willows and
cobbles.

Conclusion: Dynamic equilibrium is assumed (need cross sections
at different flows and longituainal profiles plotted).

Cross Mountain Site - Mouth of Gorge - 9/25/84

Air photo - channel morphology controlled by steep canyon and
high gradients. No changes are noticeable between photo sets.
Cross section plots indicate no change in bed location with
change in flows. (Substrate generally rocky/silty.)

eonclusion: Stability is a correct assumption.
