Some of the bonytails had red-oranse coloring <br />along the sides and on the pelvic tins. Channel catfish and carp were taken <br />throughout the collect ins area in all types ot water. <br /> <br />Invertebrate collection. By tar the largest numbers of insect larvae <br />were found clinging to pieces of limbs and sticks partially buried in the <br />sand on the river bottom. Mayfly larvae were the most numerous" but <br />caddisfly larvae, and one damselfly larvae vere taken trom sticks also. <br />Several dragonf'ly larvae were found burrowing in the sand of the river bottom. <br />l-laterboatmen, ba.cksvimmers, and one vrater beetle were found in cut..oU puddles. <br /> <br />Fish were preserved in 10~ formalin and invertebrates vere preserved <br />in alcohol. <br /> <br />ECiID PARK <br /> <br />July 29, 1962 <br /> <br />River level stayed the same since 7:30 p.m., July 26.
