reservoir residents inasmuch as threadfin shad for forage are abundant
(Table 1). Mean condition factor for squawfish captured at Gypsum Canyon
in 1980 was 1.003 (range = 0.658-2.043) in contrast to a KTL of 0.757
for three fish captured at Spanish Bottom in 1980 and KTL of 0.786 for
two fish captured there in 1981. Although sample sizes were small, fish
captured in 1980 at Gypsum Canyon tended to be heavier for their length
than those captured at Spanish Bottom in 1980 and 1981 (Figure 2).
