Colorado Water Conservation Board
Tamarisk and Russian Olive Control Cost Sharing Grant Program
Guidance and Procedures
March 2009

This Addendum NO.1 to the Colorado Water Conservation Soard Tamarisk and
Russian Olive Control Cost Sharing Grant Program Guidance and Procedures dated
March 2009 is issued to clarify that certain State of Colorado agency funds may be used
for purposes of providing the 50% minimum required matching funds. Section II.F.3 is
amended by adding the following sentences:

The prohibition against using "funds received from any other State of Colorado agency"
only applies to funds those agencies have received through the taxing power of the
State of Colorado (Le., appropriations from the General Fund and Severance Tax
Funds), and does not apply to funds those agencies receive from user fees collected for
the purposes of funding activities compatible with the CWCS TRO grant program.
Specifically, Division of Wildlife funds derived from license and stamp fees and Great
Outdoors Colorado funds derived from the sale of lottery tickets may used to meet all or
part of the 50% matching fund requirement.
