The likelihood of appeals may also be reduced or eliminated. CWCB has developed an outreach plan (located in the State Business Plan) to accomplish the following: establishing two-way con~munication to addre,ss the needs of, inform and obtain feedback from, the st.~kehalders; ensuring campliance with due process requirements; interacting wit1~ technical representatives to ensure pmduction of accurane and icp-to-date maps; enhancing ovvnershap by comm~unities; tracking, monitoring, and evalu~iting outreach activities and adjusting efforts according to ~~agoi~g feedback and evolving project needs. CWC~3 shall also assist FEMA's Consultarion Coorda`nation Ufficer (CCO) ir~ consultatioa~ and coordination efforts to ac~dress outreach activities to educate stakeholders ab~ut this ~lood Map Project. CVVCl3 shall also assist FEMA in the coordination and outreach with local officials by helping them contac;t the locai officials and the Staie NFIP Coordinator and inform them that their commurnity has been selecte~d for a possible stn~dy. They shall also work with FEMA and local officials to inform the ~ cmmmunity and request information through r~eetings and other consultation activities.
