Identify important non-consumptive (NC) uses in the North Platte Basin
2. Identify important geographic locations for NC use
3. Identify NC uses that benefit from consumptive uses, highlighting positive
interactions when found
4. Attempt to rank order of importance of NC uses
5. Estimate water required to maintain NC use
Barb gave awalk-through of the individual attribute maps of lalown NC areas:
Paper copies and CD's of the Maps will be left at Kent's office for review, since the maps
are too large to be emailed.
Eric Hecox: IBCC may be able to put the maps on their website so the roundtable
members can view them and download them. People are able to download the maps from
the website even if they caiulot be emailed.
Barbara walked through the rest of the presentation that she gave to the IBCC.
North Platte is following the approach of the Arkansas basin for NC attributes; we
haven't prioritized the attributes yet, just stacked them on top of each other
Carl: How are these going to be prioritized? By subcommittee?
Barbara: the subcommittee will propose these to the roundtable; the roundtable will have
to approve it
