North Platte Roundtable Meeting Minutes 05.15.08 2 <br />Discussion concerning the Town's Application: <br />Kent Crowder: let's make sure the town of Walden water is covered, that's half of the <br />population of this basin. <br />Voting action taken by Roundtable Members: <br />Dave Meyring: Yes <br />Sandy Knox: Yes <br />Mike Allnutt: Yes <br />John Rich: Yes <br />Ty Wattenberg: Yes <br />Dirk Ramsey: Yes <br />Tom Hackleman: Yes <br />Barbara Vasquez: Yes <br />Kent Crowder: Yes <br />Rick Wyatt: absent <br />Voting results: unaiumous approval by the voting members of Roundtable present. <br />Kent will write the required approval letter from the Basin Roundtable Chair. <br />The Town's representatives must take the responsibility to submit their application to the <br />CWCB by May 23'~~. <br />Carl Trick IL Since we ran into this with a previous application, it should be clear that it <br />will be the town's responsibility to be at the CWCB meeting, to answer any board <br />questions concerning the application. CWCB staff should notify the Town a week or so <br />prior to the meeting date if they have any concerns. But it is the Town's responsibility to <br />be there and to answer questions. Dirk Ramsey, Mayor of Walden, indicated that he <br />understood this requirement. <br />Re-Submittal of CNHP application fog WSRA funding: <br />Barbara Vasquez handed out the new Colorado Natural Heritage Program application, <br />and went over the revised budget. <br />Denise Culver of CNHI' has re-negotiated the fees with CSU down to 20% overhead. <br />Basin funds requested: ($86,000) <br />Statewide: ($96,000) <br />New budget: ($182,000) <br />The CHNP application will be considered again for official action at the June 17ti' <br />roundtable meeting. <br />
