The direct flow rights summarized in Table 2 include the junior direct flow Fort Collins Pipeline
water rights and the senior water rights transferred to the pipeline. The total amounts listed in
Table 2 for the transferred water rights are the total decreed rates for the original priorities
adjudicated to the irrigation ditches.
The City has changed its ownership in the South Side ditches and other irrigation water rights in
water court, as summarized in Table 3. The City's ownership in these water rights has generally
been adjudicated as alternate points to one another, the Fort Collins Pipeline, and to the PVP via
the North Poudre Supply Canal. Therefore, these water rights are used to satisfy non-potable
demands and for potable uses.
