Thanks to all who <br />put this tour together; come see South Platte to see how diversified we are; lower end of <br />river and ag business so important. <br />4) Education Liaison Report: Bert Weaver: Scholarships available: 200 of 350 charge: <br />June 19-20; <br />--Sue Morea: CWCB has asked to get CWEDF involved: One of the Headwaters <br />magazines will be on the Roundtable process and another one on Climate Change; CDM <br />will be assisting. <br />5)Non-Consumptive Sub-Committee: Tom Iseman; Thanks for time at last meeting; next <br />steps: metro rdtable presentation; non-consumptive for entire South Platte Basin: how to <br />pose questions, raise issues and get feedback; expect more from this committee in the <br />future; asking for help in making decision: <br />Jerke: Time line? <br />Tom Iseman: within the next month or two; including outreach on side to people who <br />have indicated willingness to work with us <br />6) Phreatophyte: Committee has not met since last time; Tina Outen, who in Weld <br />County has graciously offered to coordinate and put together a plan for the entire basin; <br />meeting today to try to organize what that plan would look like to get it to the state and to <br />coordinate with Tamarisk group; draft will be forthcoming with action plan for next <br />month; Morgan County has been less than enthusiastic therefore thinking it would be <br />beneficial to meet in Morgan County in order to outreach to farmers in Morgan County. <br />Bill Jerke: If there is a separate group that would be formed from this committee; then <br />Roundtable could fund it; Weld County unable to fund the entire project; but perhaps <br />
