that we will be discussing and deciding this topic.
Bill Jerke: You have done lots of work; thank you.
III. Dinner presentation:
Bill Jerke: Discuss follow-up activities with the Gunnison Basin
Roundtable and the Yampa/White/Green Roundtable;
Gunnison: We want to visit Guniuson Basin in August; Weld County
Services Bldg not available for that meeting, therefore, this August time
frame would be a good opportunity; recall that the Gumlison Basin was
kind enough to come and visit us and present to them; would be making a
presentation to them and tour the Gunnison; who: Harold Evans, Diane
Hoppe, Joe Frai~lc, Bob Streeter, John Metli, Julio Iturreria, Janet Bell, Jim
Yahn, Bill Jerke; email list needs to go out; contact Guiulison to determine
what their meeting time is; overnight on own, car pool.

Don Ament: Water Congress is Aug 20-21 in Vail.
Diane Hoppe: August 4 is a suggested date;
Bill Jerke: Will confirm with state about Gum7ison meeting date.
Yampa Basin: They have received our letter; Eric Hecox indicates it was
well received and that they indicated that we did listen and respond to the
issues that we heard in our September meeting; they do not yet have dates
to propose to us as to when we can visit; that trip would also be a one or
two night overstay; would involve a full blown tour of the Yampa
tour... problems, possibilities; we specifically requested that we would
look at a Yampa pumpback site near Maybell.
Eric Wilkinson: We had interesting conversation with their public
outreach individual, and asked about response from their roundtable to our
three roundtables; he said they were having a dilemma because they got
that letter and then got a letter from this basin, did not la7ow how to
respond... should they respond to the three basin roundtable letter or to our
letter first, because of the ramifications; Eric W. informed him that these
were discussions only, and that just the fact that we wanted to meet to
improve relationships in no way meant that the Yampa Pump back will be
built.
Bill Jerke: Surprising to tliiilc that it is a dilemma that the letters have only
to do with conversation and dialogue
Eric Wilkinson: West Slope four basin roundtables basin-wide meeting in
June; doubts that we will see a response before that time unless it is a
cooperative effort from the four roundtables in the CO River Basin.
Bill Jerke: Therefore, we will wait to hear if this opportunity opens up.
Diane Hoppe: I understand that the Yampa has decided to meet monthly;
Nicole Rowan: Until July.
Eric W.: I do not anticipate any of these roundtables making any
movements forward until CO River water study is done in July 2010.
