IN'1'ItODU('"I'1ON <br />The goal of this project was to construct a pcnnanent concrete hcadgate and low-head <br />rock weir at the diversion point of the Monitor Ditch. This will deliver a full entitlement <br />of water, improve water conservation, reduce maintenance, eliminate annual channel <br />disntption by bulldozers, increase in-stream flows, allow fish migration and safe passage <br />of recreational boats, and enhance year-round aquatic habitat. <br />NFR[A received approval for $23,000 from the the Colorado Watershed Protection Fund <br />b~•ants program, administered by Colorado Water Conccrvation Board (CWCl3) for <br />hcadgate and diversiun constnrction, bank stabilization and revegetation, and project <br />coordination and administration. <br />PROJE:CI' GOALS, OBJF:C'tIVF:S, and :~C"I'!VI"I'IF.S <br />Planned and Actual Milestones, Products and Completion Dates <br />TASK l: F'ic~ld Survc~t~ of eristi~t,~T topokrccp{tt~ caul coi-ditiv--s <br />Products: Cross sections and drawings of topography in SurvCad files. <br />Cost: $1712.00 for the Monitor Ditch site.
