IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION <br />lV[arch 24, 2004 <br />PROJECT TITLE: Monitor Ditch Diversion Project <br />PROJECT START DATE: August 21, 2003 <br />PROJECT COMPLETION DATE: March 22, 2004 <br />FUNDING: TOTAL BUDGET (inc hiding in-kind): $77,962.26 <br />TOTAL CWPF GRANT: <br />$23,000 <br />TOTAL MATCH ACC[~UED: $54,962.26 <br />BUDGET REVISIONS: <br />$19,000 of CWPF funds were used for headgate and diversion <br />construction, instead of the $11,000 budgeted in the submittal <br />requirements. The bank stabilization and revegetation aspects of the <br />project only required $4500 to date, of which $2000 will be paid by <br />CWPF. The remaining amount will be paid by the Trout Unlimited <br />Embrace a Stream program. <br />TOTAL CASH EXPENDITURES TO DATE: $37,803.26 <br />SUMMARY ACCOMPLISHMENTS: <br />The Monitor Ditch irrigation diversion structure was rebuilt to provide a full decree of <br />reliable, cost-effective water to adjacent farms while conserving water, allowing for <br />upstream migration offish, safe passage of recreational boats, and improved habitat and <br />water quality by eliminating the need for bulldozers in the river. <br />
