These interest areas
include Beaver Creek, Balzac, and Julesburg. Figures 11 through 13 show locations
where aquifer property and water level data are available, along with the proposed
new well locations. These locations are selected to allow quantification of
groundwater flow in the alluvium at gaging locations and to define inflows at select
tributary valleys. A total of seven new wells are proposed for Phase 2, as shown in
Table 3. Table 3 also shows the number of existing wells and aquifer tests that will be
used at each site to meet the data collection objectives.
In addition to the installation of new wells in the interest areas, existing wells in these
areas will be evaluated to supplement the SPDSS monitoring network for spring and
~.~.-~
Z:\SPDSS\10-CDM DELIVERABLES\PHASE 2 FIELD WORKPLAN\FINAL DRAFT\FINAL SPDSS TASK 33 2 WORK PLAN.DOC
