<br />2.4.4 Edit Maps
<br />After each meeting, the notes and corrections from the hard copy maps were used to make edits to the
<br />irrigated parcels and service area digital data. Figure 7 shows an example of the hardcopy maps with
<br />notes and edits on them. Notes were drawn on the maps by following certain standards to aid in
<br />interpretation. For example, a large X across a parcel means that the parcel is not irrigated. A small x
<br />over a question mark or other label means that the label can be deleted. Changes to service area
<br />boundaries were drawn with a new boundary and an arrow that pointed to the correct service area that
<br />each parcel should be in. These standard notations allowed a technician to perform the edits to the digital
<br />data.
