This Task will identify such measures and list <br />~.em in order of priority taking into account such elements as cost, j~sdiction and feasibility. <br />Task 7 <br />Reconunendationsfor Further Stud <br />The State of the watershed Report and the tasks described above will undaubted.ly reveal data <br />gaps and areas where further research is needed to fully understand local water resources. This <br />Task will entail defining those gaps and recam~mending further study, prioritized as to its urgency <br />and usefulness. Further study will be generally def~.ed and listed to provide a basis for ongoing <br />work on watershed issues and analysis. <br />Task S <br />Cam nation of watershed Plan Publishin and Presentation <br />This Task will consist of compiling the findings, lists and accompanying narrative described . <br />above, publishing it in an attractive and easily-read form and presenting it to local governments <br />and water agencies as bath a draft and a final product. This Task will involve in-person <br />presentations to those groups using visual aids and allowing for discussion and a~n.endment to the <br />greatest passible extent. The product of this Task will be a final document. <br />~. Personnne <br />Key Personnel involved in this project will include the following: <br />Mark Fuller, Director, Ruedi Water and Power Authority <br />:Mr. Fuller has been the Director of the Authority since its inception ~5 years aga. ~e has worked <br />extensively on water issues in the Roaring Fork valley and has managed and facilitated a number <br />of water planning projects. ~e will oversee the planning process, disburse all funds and take an <br />active role in many of the tasks noted above. <br />Sharon Clarke, Roaring Fark Conservancy <br />Ms. Clarke is a water Resource Specialist specializing in regional geography, Greographic <br />Information Systems ~GTS}, water resources, and aquatic habitat. She has both a B. S. and M. S. in <br />Geography. Before Sharon worked for the Forest Science Depar~nent at Oregon State University <br />coordinating and conducting regional GlS analyses for aquatic ecosystems. She has been the lead <br />writer for the State of the watershed Report, Phase 1 of the Roaring Fork ~1"atershed Plan <br />Gwen Garcelon President H.ighlife Jnlimited Consulting Finn <br />Ms. Carcelon is a long-time facilitator and community organizer based in Carbondale. She <br />coordinated the public ou~each element of Phase 1 of the watershed Plan and will be retained to <br />perform the same services for Phase ll. <br />Qther personnel will be engaged to lend specialized expertise to the planning effort.
