<br />The Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) "Guidelines for Financial Assistance <br />to Covered Entities to Develop Water Conservation Plans" have been followed in <br />preparing this grant application. To assist the CWCB in the review process, the sections <br />of this application are numbered consistent with the 8 Application Submittal <br />Requirements specified in the CWCB Guidelines. At this time, Broomfield does not <br />have a loan with the CWCB. <br /> <br />1. Organizations/Individuals Who Will Assist in Updating the Water Conservation <br />Plan <br /> <br />Broomfield has retained Leonard Rice Engineers, Inc. (LRE) to assist and provide <br />guidance to Broomfield staff in updating the Water Conservation Plan. In <br />developing the Water Conservation Plan, LRE will coordinate with Mil(e <br />Bartleson, Broomfield's Deputy Public Worl(s Director, to identify l(ey personnel <br />within Broomfield's Public Worl(s Department who will provide input into the <br />Water Conservation Plan. An organizational chart of the Broomfield Public <br />Worl(s department is shown below in Figure 1. Following is list of the Divisions <br />within Public W orl(s Department which are anticipated to be involved: <br /> <br />Environmental Services Division - Kathy Schnoor is the Superintendent <br />of the Environmental Services Division and has 25 years experience. She <br />is responsible for supervising 12 employees with a wide range of expertise <br />covering environmental management, chemistry, biology, limnology, <br />microbiology, geology, technical writing and electronic data management. <br />The Environmental Services Division is responsible for the development <br />and implementation of the Water Conservation Plan.
