<br />.. <br /> <br />3. SCOPE OF 1978 TEXAS HIPLEX PROGRAM <br />3.1 Project Area <br />The project area will be extended somewhat this summer as compared <br />with previous summers. Meteorological data will be collected in an area <br />encompassed approximately by Midland, San Angelo, Abilene, Lubbock, and <br />Seminole. The area within which cloud seeding operations will be conducted <br />will be encompassed by the arc of a circle with a radius of 130 km (70 nm) <br />centered at Snyder, and extending westward of highway 84 between Post and <br />Roscoe and of a line from Roscoe through Robert Lee to the intersection of <br />the circle. This area is shown in Fig. 3.1.1.
