From these goals, research priorities have been identified. <br /> <br />Assumptions <br /> <br />In the course of discussions of the abiotic section it became obvious <br /> <br />at an early point that certain assumptions were necessary to attain the goals <br /> <br />listed above. These assumptions follow: <br /> <br />A. If they are to be resolved, abiotic issues related to precipitation <br />augmentation must be treated in a process oriented manner. <br />B. Discussions of abiotic issues are limited' strictly to those associated <br />with precipitation enhancement. <br />C. The variables affected by precipitation enhancement are principally: <br />amount of precipitation, frequency of precipitation, and intensity <br />of precipitation. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />44 <br />
